5 Reasons Why People Use a Milk Frother

1. Give Standard Drinks an Upgrade

Using a milk frother can give a fresh new take on old fashioned drinks. Adding a layer of foamy milk froth makes the texture of the drink richer and creates a new taste experience! Using a milk frother to add a layer of froth makes your drinks look and taste like a professional barista made them, but in the comfort of your own home.

2. At Home Cafe

Speaking of being your own professional barista, milk frothers are a great way to get your daily cafe fix without ever leaving your house! You can make the same quality drinks that you would order anywhere else, but you're saving time and money by making them at home. Plus you're in complete control of what ingredients/flavors and how much goes into your drinks! If you have a manual or electric handheld milk frother, then you can easily transport your own little cafe with you wherever you go!

3. Easy and Convenient

Regardless of what type of milk frother you're using, they are all very easy to use. This is a huge reason why more and more people are starting to incorporate milk frothers into their coffee routines. It's a relatively easy tool for all experience levels to use when making their ideal drink.

4. Coffee Art

A milk frother does not help you in creating the actual coffee art, but it does give you a platform for your coffee art. By whipping up a thick layer of foam for your coffee, you have a nice base to incorporate all kinds of coffee designs! And the less time you spend creating this base, the more time you can spend designing!

5. Tradition

If you're looking to stick to traditional ways of making some coffee drinks, then a milk frother is a must. Cappuccinos, lattes, macchiatos, and more are traditionally made with a top layer of foam milk (which is different than steamed milk which some of these drinks might also include). Using a milk frother is the easiest way to keep tradition when creating these coffee drinks.

Maestri House's Handheld Milk Frother: the Ultimate Again!

Last year, after having tried just about every frother brand and style on the market: A__,C__,B__, N__ and didn't think I'd ever need another one, but when we were offered to test Maestri House's Detachable Milk Frother MMF-, it is now the only countertop frother on our countertop. We found that it creates a superior texture to the frothed milk to top our Nespresso cappuccinos.

So when Vickie from Maestri House contacted us about testing their new handheld frother, the MMF-BX07, we definitely said, 'YES!'

Our first test was to whip some cream without sugar for our evening espresso. The whip cream whipped to a rich and stable whipped cream. The leftover whipped cream was stable and had not watered out the following morning. We were so pleased with the results, we then dolloped our iced coffees with the dense whipped cream.

Our only have a couple of critiques of the frother: The mixing rod's plastic mounting part is a pressure, friction fit onto the handheld's metal rod. We found that we had to look carefully as we slid the mixing rod into the handheld to make sure we lined up the rod and felt the pressure of the plastic sliding snugly into place. The owner's manual diagrams the parts of the handheld frother, it does not explain explain attaching the charging cable after lifting aside the Silicon Tail Plug on top of the handheld and how long it takes to charge. Although we love the metric system and state grams and milliliters for our ingredients and measuring cup capacities in our recent books, only milliliters and millimeters are specified for measurements. In either case for the owner's manual, most American users will figure out how to charge and what to size frothing vessel to use. Maestri House will be revising their manual for future production runs of the frother.
