I realized that I can give some advice, how to choose a good simultaneous interpreter.
A good simultaneous interpreter should have the following qualities:

Therefore - yes - to the number of years in simultaneous interpretation, and yes - to the number of events. The more, the better. If you have a list of events, great. But this is not enough. A person can make up with this list of events found in internet.
Therefore ' no ' to the list is not enough, but yes - to photos of badges, and events photos. I am sure that a good interpreter should have a file with event photos at work, with face on the photo. Not just the face inside the booth, but, but with face on the background of the event banner or screen.
Further on - if you need a simultaneous interpreter to interpret at the top officials' meeting, and your candidate has interpreted for tourists, or at exhibition stands, alas, there may be problems. It is better to choose an interpreter who has experience at the level you need.
Next thing is about videos. It would be great to see some video work examples. AND NOT A VOICE-OVER VIDEO! Pardon me for saying this, but this is a BIG BULLSHIT. Let me explain. I've personally caught one interpreter doing this. He began to advertise himself too aggressively, and was quite inadequate. At first, I've read about him on internet. The first red flag. It did not take long for me to discover something - in one place the interpretation was a few words ahead of the speaker. Elsewhere one word ahead. And this is a huge red flag. Let me explain how this is done. A smart-ass interpreter records a video (in English, Russian, it doesn't matter). With great time and efforts writes down the text of the original speech. Then, with great time and efforts translates the text. And then he READS the nicely translated text from a piece of paper, trying to get into the original speech, with a little delay. The impression that amazing and astonishing interpretation. But the fast is ' the guy is a great reader. It's a voice-over job, not simultaneous interpretation.
