Digital interpretation systems use infrared technology, providing high privacy, as infrared signals do not pass through walls or ceilings. Digital interpretation systems have crystal clear sound. Digital interpretation interpretation system has no interference from lighting or mobile signals.
Simultaneous interpretation equipment is a language distribution system, it is not a sound system. You should order a sound system separately, depending on the number of participants and the size of the venue. You should also order wired or wireless microphones along with a sound system. Speakers should speak to the microphone for the sound to travel to interpreters ears, otherwise interpreters will not be able to hear the speaker, since they are seated in a closed soundproof booth.

It is single ear headphones, participants dont need to frequently take off during the meeting sessions. Ask your provider if they have such headphones.
It should comply with ISO standards for language interpretation cabinets. There are various things interpreters might need inside the booth: special headphones, microphones, lamps (or led light). Ask your vendor for ISO standard interpretation booths, which complies with the latest updated ISO requirements.
Interpreter booth should be placed in an area where interpreters can freely see the speakers. Each language pair should have a booth. The distance from the booth to the stage should allow interpreters to easily view what is happening on the stage, otherwise each booth should have monitors.
Ask your contractor how they plan to distribute receivers. It is usually done by collecting ID cards from participants. It helps if your AV contractor has special numbered cases for receiver distribution and collection.
You should not work with vendors who install the equipment, to tell you that the interpreter will operate the equipment. Your vendor should plan at least one technician for events with up to 50 participants, two or more technicians for events with over 100 participants.
You should not risk the setup being on the same day as the event day. Always plan enough time for sound check.
The cheap price should not always be a determining factor when choosing rental simultaneous interpretation equipment. Do not risk your event with low priced service. Your vendor should have experience in highest level meetings and conferences and should be able to provide you with past performance information.
